Grandma and Grandpa

Mason,

Daddy had to return to work, and Grandma and Grandpa came out for a few days to meet you and help me out around the house.

We put them to work, didn't we? They surely needed a few days to rest after they cooked and cleaned and ran errands for us, and then listened to you wail in the evenings, which have, sadly, become your witching hours.

They were impressed by your set of pipes!

Grandma and Grandpa went with us to your second pediatrician visit, which thankfully, proved uneventful with no poop explosions this time. You weighed 10 pounds, 6 ounces, and measured 21.5 inches long.

The last day of their visit was beautiful, and you showed them all around our neighborhood while I napped.

After seeing how quickly you melt down after a nap if you're not fed immediately, Grandpa and Grandma wisely decided not to let you wake up before they got close to home. Apparently, they'd sit down to rest on a park bench, you'd crack open an eye, and they'd jump up and start strolling with you again to lull you back to sleep. The three of you must have covered miles on your walk!

Way to keep them on their toes (and active), Honey! And thanks to Grandma and Grandpa for their visit and help!

Love,
Mommy
